Capel signing is 70% probable

June 25, 2008

The Sun’s respected sports writer, Shaun Custis, today told us that the chance of Tottenham Hotspur signing Sevilla left winger, Diego Capel, is 70% probable.

He has said that Tottenham have had an offer from Sevilla accepted.  In the event of Sevilla accepting a bid from Spurs, and not the Spanish F.A. this would mean that the bid made by Tottenham would be significantly lower than the €12 million contract exit clause that currently exists.

When we asked Custis what the fee was, he simply shrugged his shoulders.  He did tell us that Diego Capel spoke about a move to Tottenham yesterday.

“I’ve heard of the interest and am flattered Juande [Ramos] is impressed with me enough to look at me.  Playing in the Premier League is a dream for me”

We’ll update this story when we have more news on the subject.

What we’re all about

June 24, 2008

Hi,

You can call me Mike (not my real name) and I am what some would call an ITK (In The Know).  I work for a newspaper, but will not ever divulge which media house it is.

I am also not a Spurs fan, although my entire family are.  I actually support Leyton Orient (long long story).  I’ve thought about creating a Spurs site for quite a while now.  I just haven’t had the time to get one up and running.

I have chosen to write about Spurs as my colleagues and I are handed information about the club in a timely manner.  Did you know that Tottenham Hotspur are the most talked about football club in the Premier League when it comes to controversial subjects and player transfers?

I won’t be the only author on this site, but will be posting regular articles from time to time.  Other authors that will be taking part in building this site are;

Pikey
Maxwell
Levy
Big Fellow

We all work together and will post articles as we get various snippets of information in.  Please be aware that not every single article will end up coming to fruition.  If for instance, we are linked with a superstar and the guy’s and me get to hear about it, we’ll publish an article.  It doesn’t mean that it’ll end up coming true.

In football, there are so many variables that need to be taken into serious consideration before a player, manager, coach, etc moves on.  We’ll write about it if we feel there is some weight behind the story.

Welcome to Tottenham World!
