The Sun’s respected sports writer, Shaun Custis, today told us that the chance of Tottenham Hotspur signing Sevilla left winger, Diego Capel, is 70% probable.
He has said that Tottenham have had an offer from Sevilla accepted. In the event of Sevilla accepting a bid from Spurs, and not the Spanish F.A. this would mean that the bid made by Tottenham would be significantly lower than the €12 million contract exit clause that currently exists.
When we asked Custis what the fee was, he simply shrugged his shoulders. He did tell us that Diego Capel spoke about a move to Tottenham yesterday.
“I’ve heard of the interest and am flattered Juande [Ramos] is impressed with me enough to look at me. Playing in the Premier League is a dream for me”

I’ve been told that we had a bid accepted last week, but the Sevilla chairman is trying to cancel the agreement he has with Spurs. That’s whats delaying the transfer.

I am a Juventus fan and we have been told by our club supporters that we are about to sign Capel and Keita from Sevilla for €25 million. We have been told that the Sevilla has accepted the bid and that both players will be coming to Juve next week.

You are right that Juventus wanted both players. They did make a bid, but of only €16 million for the both of them.
Capel will not be joining Juventus as the Italian club pulled back, having preferred to sign Keita instead. No deal for Keita has been confirmed either, with the player telling his club that he will go on strike if he is not allowed to move to Juventus.
Looks like you’ll be signing Keita only my friend.
